The two of us, Vanessa Almonte and Ali Glenn, started our company in 2015, after doing test shoots for a year. At first, all our photographs were in homes or exteriors, I, (Vanessa) shot the photos as a pastime for friends and family but when I met Ali, in makeup school, I proposed working together and we’ve been unstoppable ever since. 

Both of us invest all our energy and passion into our work, which is why, for the sake of quality, we decided to work in a studio and leave exteriors behind, since too many factors outside of our will could negatively affect our photoshoot. Both of us edit the pictures and that is how we find balance in the final product.

    Hi! I am Ali, a makeup artist, and professional photographer. I graduated from the University William Woods with a business license. I attended the Makeup Academy in Nashville, TN. I have more than 5 years of experience as a makeup artist and photographer.

    I am in charge of personalizing and designing each makeup look for the person’s face with high-quality and professional products. My objective is for the models to look like themselves, without any excess. My specialty is pictures of pregnant women and family portraits, I love them!

    I’m always smiling. You’ll never see me with a serious expression, I love glitter and fashion. I think of myself as a kind and enthusiastic person. Sometimes I may seem nervous because I like to make people feel comfortable at all costs. I think I am creative and a dreamer. That’s why I am always proposing new ideas to my friends and why we have a perfect balance together.

    Hi, I’m Vanessa, a professional makeup artist, photographer, and co-owner of the studio, The Rouge Caravane. I am an army veteran and I graduated from the University of Austin Peay with a degree in construction engineering. I attended the Makeup Arts Academy in Nashville, TN, and earned a certification in Fashion and Makeup. I have more than 5 years of experience in photography and makeup.

    I’m in charge of chatting with our customers, explaining everything and designing the photoshoot beforehand with figures and colors according to the client’s preference, and keeping our stars informed. I also style every model’s hair and when I’m taking pictures, Ali is behind the camera as an assistant, putting together the ideal scene.

    I am the more serious and realistic one between the two of us. I think in terms of black and white, not shades of gray. I see myself as formal and honest; I am honest and would never lie to clients. I would be sincere about whether or not something flatters them and I almost always prefer what is classic and practica. My favorite color palette is earth tones and I love minimalism, which is why I complement Ali.
